Biografia
Kiri Dalena is a visual artist and filmmaker. Her work lays bare social inequality and injustice, particularly in the Philippines. Works such as Red Saga (2004), Erased Slogans (2008) and Requiem for M (2010) document and critically comment on historical and current political affairs. As a member of the National Executive Committee of the Alliance for the Advancement of People’s Rights (KARAPATAN), she faced a revived perjury charge by the Philippine National Security Council.
