Biografia

This Dublin-born director began with ten years of community film making and television. His first feature film, Ballymun Lullaby (2011), was acclaimed by the critics, nominated for Irish Film and Television Awards (IFTA), received awards from the SDGI Directors Guild of America was shown at numerous international festivals, including the DOC NYC and TIFF Kids. His next film, I Used to Live Here (2014), won the Best First Film Award at Galway and was nominated for 3 IFTA awards. His film Michael Inside had its premiere at Galway, where it won the Best Irish Film Award. It went on to win the Audience Award at Cork and was nominated for five IFTA awards, winning Best Film 2018. Berry teaches film production at the Cólaiste Dhúlaigh College of Further Education en Coolock.
