Christian Madsen

Christian, the son of Michael Madsen, wrapped Cook for Bruce Beresford opposite Eddie Murphy and Britt Robertson. He can be seen in his breakout role opposite Shailene Woodley and Kate Winslet in the Neil Burger directed film, Divergent produced by Doug Wick and Lucy Fisher.

Other independent films include King Jack and Prism and had cameos in Gia Coppola's Palo Alto and Jake Squared opposite Elias Koteas. He acted in his first film Eyes Front, with his father Michael Madsen, at the age of 11. Christian continued acting throughout his school career and performed in plays including Barefoot in the Park and You Can't Take It With You.

At 16, Christian directed a short, starring his father and Robert Miano, entitled No Names. Christian discovered his love of acting in high school, and he studied the Meisner technique, under Robert Carnegie, at Play House West when he was 17. He also auditioned for the prestigious Actor's Studio.

As an avid reader, painter, and photographer, Christian is constantly looking to broaden his creative horizons. He has challenged himself as an actor in 5 feature films, including Brazen Bull, and has acted again with his father in Refuge From the Storm.
