Biografia
Helmut Dziuba (1933-2012), screenwriter and director, graduated from the VGIK film school in Moscow, then began work at the state-owned DEFA studios. He made his debut with the feature-length Moor and the Ravens of London (Mohr und die Raben von London, 1968). He primarily made films for children and teens with historical to contemporary themes, of which we'll mention Red Ties (Rotschlipse, 1977), Sabine Kleist, Aged Seven... (Sabine Kleist, 7 Jahre, 1982), and Forbidden Love (Verbotene Liebe, 1989).
