BUI KIM QUY (1983, Hanoi, Vietnam). Graduated from the Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema with a B.A in Screenwriting. Wrote several feature screenplays for cinema and TV. Teaches at the TPD Center of The Vietnam Cinema Association; Arena School of Multimedia Education, and the Hanoi Academy of Theater and Cinema. Her films as director include Mattress (2002), Why Is There No Moon in the Daytime (2006) and The New Year's Eve (2006). The Inseminator is her feature directorial debut.
