Jalal Maghout is a filmmaker from Syria who started his film career after receiving a bachelor's degree in visual communication from Damascus University 2010. He has produced and directed a variety of short animated films that played at festivals around the world, including his most recent film "Suleima"- an animadoc which has been selected for many festivals including: Dok-Leipzig, Stuttgart and ANNECY. Currently, Jalal is preparing his master-film in Berlin besides developing other projects.
