Biografia
Yrsa´s first documentary after finishing her master in creative documentary at Pompeu Fabra, iDEC, Barcelona, was Salóme. Previously she studied fine art at Chelsea College of Art in London. As well as making documentaries and other filmic pieces she uses a variety of media in her practice: texts, photography, watercolours and print work. She processes all her black and white films herself where she is enjoying the moment of experimentation. In 2009 Yrsa co-funded Skarkali with Helga Rakel Rafnsdóttir. Salóme was her first documentary.
