Damian Jones

Damian Jones is an award-winning British film producer and founder of DJ Films Limited. His career spans over 30 feature films working with the most prestigious on and off screen talent.

Damian Jones  finished principal photography on the highly anticipated ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS: THE MOVIE, based on the legendary television series directed by Mandie Fletcher, starring Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley.

Jones has worked with world-class directing talent including; Phyllida Lloyd (THE IRON LADY) Amma Asante (BELLE), Danny Boyle (MILLIONS), Mat Whitecross (SEX & DRUGS & ROCK & ROLL), Nicholas Hytner (THE HISTORY BOYS, THE LADY IN THE VAN) and Michael Winterbottom (WELCOME TO SARAJEVO).

In 2015 Jones produced the feature film of the heritage British comedy hit DAD'S ARMY directed by Oliver Parker and starring an A-list line up, as well as LADY IN THE VAN directed by Nicholas Hytner, starring Alex Jennings and Maggie Smith, who was nominated for both BAFTA and Golden Globe Awards for her performance.

Jones' other producing success is the critically- acclaimed THE IRON LADY starring Meryl Streep as British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, M.J. Delaney's POWDER ROOM, Gregg Araki's SPLENDOR Regan Hall's FAST GIRLS, and Vondie Curtis-Hall's GRIDLOCK'D, and Noel Clarke's hard- hitting ADULTHOOD and KIDULTHOOD.

Jones has developed GOODBYE CHRISTOPHER ROBIN with Steve Christian and director Simon Curtis and also a biography of the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen with writer Chris Urch and director Andrew Haigh. Jones was also executive producing Roger Spottiswoode's STREET CAR NAMED BOB and Jenny Lu's THE RECEPTIONIST.
