Biografia

BAFTA and RTS Award winner and nominee Christine Cant created the hair & make-up for many of the legendary British comedies going back decades. In 1990 she won the Award for Best Make up for 'Agatha Christie's Poirot' and 2005 she was nominated for a BAFTA TV award for the 'Absolutely Fabulous' Christmas Special. Cant won a RTS Award for make up and design for 'Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy' at the 2011/12 RTS Awards and was nominated for 'Luxury Comedy 2 – Tales from Painted Hawaii' and 'Harry and Paul's Story of the Twos' at the 2013/14 RTS Awards.

Her many television credits include 'Blandings'; 'Absolutely Fabolous', 'This is Jinsy'; 'Comedy Showcase'; 'Horrible Histories' with Stephen Fry; 'Vera', 'Getting On'; 'Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy'; 'Lizzie and Sarah', Clatterford'; 'The Life and Times of Vivienne Vyle'; 'A Bucket o' French and Saunders'; 'Snuff Box'; 'The ITCrowd'; 'The Mighty Boosh'; 'Jam'; 'Father Ted'; 'I'm Alan Partridge'; 'Jeeves and Wooster' and 'Agatha Chistie's Poirot', for which she won a BAFTA TV Award for best make up.

More recently worked on 'Beowulf: Return to the Shieldlands', which was shown on ITV.
