Lucas Castán Rasal got his degree in Film, TV, and Digital Media in San Jorge University (Spain) in 2013. He has been working for many years in the industry, directing commercials, musical videos, and short documentaries. He also worked as assistant director in the feature The Bride (Paula Ortiz, 2015). "Real Men Don't Cry" is his second short. His previous project, "Alba" (2014), was selected in 20 international film festivals and won the Best Short prize in Aragon 12th Short Film Festival and Best Actor prize in the 19th Fuentes Film Festival.
