Biografia

Julián Hernández graduated in film from the state University UNAM. Among his previous works are the feature films El cielo dividido (Broken Sky; 2006), Mil nubes de paz cercan el cielo, amor, jamás acabarás de ser amor (A Thousand Clouds of Peace Fence the Sky; 2003), winner of the Teddy Award at Berlin Film Festival and Rabioso sol, rabioso cielo (Raging Sun, Raging Sky), winner of the same Award in 2009. Hernández has also directed, among others, the short fims Por encima del abismo de la desesperación (1996), Brandero (2007) and Wandering Clouds (2013).
