He is passionate about comics and hip hop. Matusalén is his second solo feature film. Nominated for a Goya for his first feature film, Orígenes secretos, 2020, based on his own novel, which was No. 1 on Netflix and was nominated for three Goya awards (best adapted screenplay, special effects, makeup and hairstyling). He was also nominated for a Goya award for best animated film for Gora automatikoa. In theater, he has written the shows En su cabeza era espectacular and Hecho a mano by Pantomima Full and Mucha tontería by Berto Romero. As a comic book author, he is the creator of Sargento Resines together with Salva Espín and this March he launches Pro, a superhero comic for Panini, Marvel’s publishing house in Spain.
