Miriam Heard

Miriam was brought up in the UAE, studied at Oxford University and trained as an actress at Rada London, and CNAD, Paris. She worked with Raúl Ruiz and Valeria Sarmiento, and in theatre in London and Chile. She studied filmmaking at NYU and works as a director, screenwriter, actress and literary translator. Wastelands is her first feature as writer/director.
