Sergey Bodrov

Sergei Bodrov was born and grew up in the Far East of Russia. He worked as a journalist prior to writing over twenty screenplays. He co-wrote EAST-WEST and is the author of the book, “Liberte=Paradis,” published by Actes Sud in France. He directed his first film in Kazakhstan. Central Asia is an area he knows well and loves.
