Producer, scriptwriter and director Benny Chan (1969, Hong Kong) ranks among the icons of Hong Kong action film. It was Big Bullet (1996) that made him famous. The quality of his blockbusters tends to fluctuate; in better moments he creates motion pictures such as New Police Story (2004) or Invisible Target (2007) while in times of routine he produces flicks like Connected (2008) or Shaolin (2011).
