Biografia
NICK SWARDSON is one of the latest in Hollywood considered a triple threat, tackling projects as a comedian, writer, and actor. In addition to his roles of co-creator and star of Comedy Central's “Nick Swardson's Pretend Time” series, Swardson continues to sell out his stand-up shows across the country and he has become a fixture on the big screen in some of the last few years' highest-grossing feature comedies.
Coming off the heels of the hugely successful comedy, Just Go With It, in which he co-starred with Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler, Swardson portrayed a naïve Midwesterner who finds himself as an unlikely breakout star in the porn industry in Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star. This was Swardson's first leading role, and a project he co-wroted (with Adam Sandler and Allen Covert) and produced. Swardson has also performed a full length one-hour stand up special for Comedy Central and simultaneously released his second CD on Comedy Central Records, simply titled, "Seriously, Who Farted?"
The road to success has been a steady climb for Swardson, who started his career in Minneapolis before heading to New York and finally Los Angeles in the late-90s where he first struck feature success with Malibu's Most Wanted, for Warner Bros., which starred Jamie Kennedy. After catching the attention of Happy Madison Productions, he quickly became cemented with the company, writing, co-writing, producing, and starring in such projects as Grandma's Boy, The Benchwarmers, and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, with Adam Sandler and Kevin James. His first CD/DVD, "Party", on Comedy Central Records (also produced by Happy Madison) was a top-seller in the comedy market; the DVD was certified platinum.
Swardson's other film credits include Art School Confidential, Blades of Glory, and You Don't Mess with the Zohan. In television, he has a noted recurring role of Terry in “Reno 911!”
