Peter Snowdon

Biografia

Having studied French language and philosophy in Oxford, Peter Snowdon (1964, Northumberland, Great Britain) moved to Paris where he worked as a journalist, publisher and UNESCO consultant. After some time he spent in Egypt, he returned to Europe and began to shoot agitation films. Gradually, his exclusively political oeuvre was expanded to include experimental and avant-garde methods as well as broader philosophical themes. His short films have been selected to compete at film festivals in Edinburgh or Kansas City. Snowdon is currently working on a dissertation on vernacular video and examining documentary practice following the Arab Spring.
