Cary Joji Fukunaga

Cary Joji Fukunaga (b. 1977, Oakland, California) studied at the University of California, Santa Cruz. His work as a screenwriter, director, and cinematographer has taken him all over the globe – beyond the Arctic circle, to Haiti and to West Africa. In 2005, the Sundance festival screened his short directorial debut Victoria para Chino, for which he also wrote the screenplay.
