Zoë Isabella Kravitz was born on December 1, 1988 in Venice, CA. Zoë‟s love and interest in acting developed from classes she began taking while in school. Wasting little time, Zoë started working on two films during her senior year in high school; No Reservations (2007) directed by Scott Hicks, where she worked alongside Catherine Zeta Jones and Aaron Eckhart, and The Brave One (2007), directed by Neil Jordan, starring Jodie Foster and Terrance Howard.
Zoë completed filming X-Men: First Class co-starring January Jones, James McAvoy and Kevin Bacon, where she played the character of Angel Salvadore. The film was released on June 3, 2011 and debuted as #1 at the box office. She appeared in her first lead roles in the films, It´s Kind of a Funny Story, based on the novel by Ned Vizzini, co-starring Zack Galifianakis, Lauren Graham and Emma Roberts, and Yelling to the Sky, which tells the story of a Sweetness O‟Hara who has a sometimes-absent father and a present but mentally unstable mother. The film debuted at the Berlin Film Festival and the South by Southwest Film Festival in 2011.
Zoë has also starred in the Joel Schumacher film Twelve co-starring Kiefer Sutherland, 50 Cent, Chase Crawford and Emma Roberts. Zoë was set to co-star alongside Charlize Theron in Mad Max: Fury Road. Outside of her film endeavors, Kravitz has kept busy with various projects. She was serving as lead singer and co-writer for her band, Elevator Fight.
Kravtiz is also the face of Vera Wang‟s Princess perfume. Zoë starred in 2008 in Jay-Z‟s music video of his single I Know off his American Gangster album. She was also featured with Jessica Alba, Ryan Phillippe, Tyrese Gibson, George Lopez, John Leguizamo and several other celebrities in Will.I.Am‟s We Are the Ones music video during Obama‟s campaign.
Zoë is the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet. She currently resides in New York City. Zoë resides in New York City.
