Director and writer. He has made several shorfilms and feature films. Now Showing is a five hour film which was premiered at The Director's Fortnight in Cannes in 2008. His previous films, Independence and Manila, were exibited at Cannes 2009. The Great Cinema Party was part the Jeonju Digital Project comision in 2012. Martin's previous films, Buenas Noches, España (2011) were premiered at the Lorcano Festival were he was also part of the international competence jury. There have been many restrospectives made about his work at the Kassel, New York, Paris, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, and Seoul Documenta. Martin is the holder of the Thirteen Artirst Award - Cultural Center of the Philippines.
