Isabel de Ocampo is a producer, screenwriter and film director, with a degree in Image Sciences from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and studies in Film Directing at ECAM. She serves as the CEO of EWA. In 2009 she won the Goya Award for Best Fiction Short Film for Miente and was subsequently nominated for a Goya Award for Best New Director for Evelyn. In 2014 she premiered Piratas y Libélulas, a documentary on the therapeutic power of theater in troubled neighborhoods, which obtained an Honorable Mention from the Jury at the 2013 SEMINICI. From 2015 to 2019 she shot the documentary Serás hombre, co-starring a pimp and the artist Abel Azcona. The documentary, about masculinities and prostitution, premiered at the Seminci in Valladolid.
