Biografia

Chilean actress who studied at the Escuela de Teatro of Gustavo Meza and who has participated in outstanding theatre, film, and television productions. She was an important element of the Chilean film development for the last 15 years, participating in films such as Post mortem (best actress in La Habana Film Festival), No, El club and El conde by Pablo Larraín. Sábado, La vida de los peces, Mensajes privados and El castigo by Matías Bize (best actress in the Tallin Black Nights Film Festival, Beijing Film Festival, Lima Film Festival, Trieste Film Festival and the Seattle Latin Film Festival). Also with Marcela Said in Los perros (best actress in the Stockholm Film Festival) and with Dominga Sotomayor in Tarde para morir joven. Her other works are Los domingos mueren más personas by the Argentinian filmmaker Iair Said and Los tortuga by the Catalonian director Belen Funes. As for television, she has participated in TV series such as La jauría by Lucía Puenzo and Dignidad by Julio Jorquera. As for theatre, she’s been part of Auge y caída de la ciudad de Mahagony by Bertolt Brecht, Los padres terribles by Jean Cocteau, Tío Vania by Antón Chéjov and Girls and Boys, a monologue by the English playwright Dennys Kelly directed by Alfredo Castro, among others.
