Cristo was awarded by Oscar-winning director Alejandro González Iñárritu the Rising Star Award for Television from the Critics Choice Association during the 2nd Annual Celebration of Latino Cinema & Television. Audiences were thrilled to see Cristo make his debut in the Marvel Universe with his end-scene appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home. With the announcement of his role as Wheeljack in the film Transformers: Rise of The Beasts and joining Apple TV’s Acapulco and Disney+’s Alexander 2, Cristo became a “go-to” for Hollywood films. Cristo developed his production company Espectro MX Films based in Mexico. Most notably, the company produced the feature films Sisters and Corina, which Cristo is also starring in.
