Sean Durkin

He wrote and directed Mary Last Seen, a short film that won the Prix SFR at 2010 Directors Fortnight in Cannes. The Film premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and went on to screen at London BFI, Hamptons, New York, and AFI film festivals. His first feature length script, Marta Marcy May Marlene was developed at the 2010 Sundance Screenwriters and Directors Lab. Sean produced Afterschool, for which he received and Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best First Feature. Sean is a graduate of the NYU Film Program, a co-funder of Borderline Films, and was raised in NYC.
