Biografia

Actress mainly known for the series Amar es para siempre (formerly Amar en tiempos revueltos), where she has played the character of Manolita for eighteen years. She has also participated in many TV series, such as El grupo, Ana y los 7 and El último Show. In cinema, she has appeared in more than a dozen films, including Nada en la nevera (Álvaro Fernández Armero, 1998), Celos (Vicente Aranda, 1999), El arte de morir (Álvaro Fernández Armero, 2000), School Killer (Carlos Gil 2001), La soledad era esto (Sergio Renán, 2002) and Perro flaco (Ernesto Martin 2011). She is a great lover of theatre, we have seen her in productions such as Nerón, directed by Alberto Castrillo-Ferrer in 2018, at the Mérida Festival; El Tartufo de Moličre, directed by Hernán Gené in 2011; Lúcido directed by Amelia Ochandiano, at the CDN or Dońa Rosita la soltera, by Federico García Lorca, directed by Antonio Díaz Florián, 2004. She combines her career as an actress with her other great passion: literature. Together with her brother Jorge, she is the author of the successful Colección Miranda, in which the lives of great women in history are revealed, and of Miranda y Tato, a collection that deals with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda and has the UN seal of approval.
