David 'Tosh' Gitonga

David Tosh Gitonga (1981) is a director from Kenya. He graduated from the Kenyan Marketing Institute and thanks to an internship in the field of film production began to work in film. He has worked as an assistant producer and director and has worked on the making of feature-length films. By taking part in a training course initiated by the film companies One Fine Day Films, Ink and DW Academy and under subsequent guidance of director Tom Tykwer, he completed his first feature film Nairobi Half Life (2012).
