Dalui yeonin : bobogyungsim ryeo

Dalui yeonin : bobogyungsim ryeo (2016)

I tend to rate TV series pretty much immediately after watching them. However, since I don't want to make an emotionally unbalanced fool of myself in front of the whole community, I'll take my time this time. For now, I'll just reveal that of all the historical series, this one is definitely my number one at the moment, and that I'll be recovering from it for at least a few days. //// Even two weeks after watching it, I haven't calmed down properly, and every time I come across anything related to this series, my heart rate speeds up. I can still vividly recall some of the pivotal scenes, the depth of which for me is indescribable in words. I’m still carrying that feeling at the end. Listening to the soundtrack almost every day, I am still filled with emotion. I developed a very special relationship with the actors, regardless of whether I knew them before Moon Lovers. The story is so sensitive for me that I can't comment on it. If you ask me what to watch from now on, I'll recommend this. //// I can say that even after two years, I still haven't completely recovered from this show. And I find that incredible, which is why I'm elevating the series to my number one.

I really can’t give a sixth star, just once? Really no? When Eric and everyone else who worked on the show deserve it so much? There was nothing, just nothing, that didn't sit right with me. Everything was just right. Funny, romantic, crazy, insane, love scenes... all so divinely straightforward. Like the main character herself. You can't help but love her and her crazy parents. The same goes for all of Do-kyung’s roommates and staff. They shined in almost every shot. Plus the series has fantastic cinematography and editing. The flashbacks here are also beautifully done. The various details make them really engaging and you don't get the feeling that the creators are just stretching out the episodes with them. And the icing on the cake is Eric's most beautiful voice. I could listen to that all the time. 100%... not 89%, a full 100%!

I don't know what to say. This goes beyond my words. All I know is that the old familiar emptiness that I've experienced a few times after finishing a series is here, and now I'm going to have to carry it and all those other incredible feelings around for a while. I'm guessing this time it will be for months. In time, when I've shaken it off a bit, maybe I'll tell you more. 5 stars// Less than six months after watching it, I still have a strong connection to this series. Just as I expected, it took months to fill the "void" in me. I believe some of you know it. It's that state where you finish watching something amazing, and then you just know it's going to be a long time before something else comes along that you really and completely enjoy. Because everything you put on in that state is going to be missing something. You feel that it "isn’t exactly right", that it's imperfect, that you've seen the best and nothing better can come along. You have an emptiness inside you that you just can’t fill. But one day it will fade, and you will once again be able to see beauty in its fullness somewhere else.

I think I was fated to love this series. :) And with that, it's clear that I can't be expected to be objective at all. I fell uncontrollably in love by about the third episode and it didn't let go until the end. Quite the opposite, my love grew with each episode. Moreover, it's one of the few series where I've grown to like almost all the characters. There was something special about each of them and they managed to recharge my batteries in every episode. And so I laughed and cried and laughed and cried... And that's what an all-time favorite is all about. I'll never forget Hyeok Jang as Gun. Tell me, what I’m going to do without the snail couple now? I know, I'll be drowning in memories listening to the soundtrack, which is beautiful by the way. 5 stars.

An incredibly beautiful and human dorama that is bound to move even the hardest of hearts. It is definitely one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I'm going to miss Bom, Young Shin, Dr. Min, and grandfather very much. The actor who portrayed the grandfather is especially deserving of hundreds of awards. It was an honor to watch. 5 stars.

And here it is! I’ve fallen in love... It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen or heard. I sat back and enjoyed this masterpiece. This time I knew it was going to be amazing, so I waited months for the right moment to watch The Snow Queen. Words cannot express how moved I was. This is love for me... And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I noticed a detail – there's a poster of my favorite film, If Only, hanging on the wall in the main character's room. It's been my greatest cinematic experience so far. Now it's a small picture compared to this gem.

Whatever I write won't be enough. I never know when it’ll come, and then it's there, and I'm rediscovering why this world is so irreplaceable and amazing to me. Once again I am in a trance, unable to write any constructive or meaningful review. So I'll leave it at this, full of illogicality and emotion. With the excuse that those two forced me into it. Perfect and perfect. Their connection. But not only them, the rest of the ensemble helped out, and the beautiful music... 5 stars.

When a friend recommended the series to me, saying "the lead actress is so pretty", I nodded back with a smile, thinking that while Ye-ji Seo is hot as hell, my main interest would probably be elsewhere. It was a mistake to underestimate her power and female charisma and think I would be immune to it. For me personally, Ye-ji Seo is turning into something like a drug from now on. Soo-hyeon Kim was great and getting better all the time, but he mostly didn't have a chance to steal a scene for himself. (Then again, when the script allowed him to, he did.) Not only did he have this gorgeous, charismatic woman next to him, but his older colleague Jeong-se Oh was next to him scoring points as his brother in what is thus far (in my opinion) the role of his career. His autism was perfect and can only salute him. Wordless, but down to earth. Although I had originally planned to do so, I ultimately see no reason to go on here about my concerns about the quality and authenticity of the series, which were formed based on the previews and promotion of the series. After all, that was silly. Anyway, I'm overflowing with feelings and my head is full of thoughts. Trying to somehow organize them would probably be futile right now, so I'll just end this for now (and maybe forever) by saying that I've gone to depths I’ve never known through these stories. This is true love, 5 stars.

Forget all the clichés that come with Korean soap operas. Forget about the brash scripts, model behavior, overacting, and unnecessary misunderstandings. The jealous Haw-shin is here, and he brings to Korean screens a new perspective on love and relationships in general. I can't say that the plot unfolds the way I'd like it to all the time, but it's not supposed to. I was thrilled with the main duo (trio, actually). I was thrilled with the script. I was thrilled at how many neglected themes the show opens up. I was thrilled about pretty much everything. A nice breath of fresh air. 5 stars.

Yeonin

Yeonin (2006)

I probably should have written this review incrementally, since I'll be singing one ode after another here after seeing that big (really big!) finale. So I'll start... Does this show have any flaws? It doesn't. The cast? Amazing, mature, and new. The story? One of the best. The music? It captures the atmosphere exactly. How many times did I cry during the show? I'd rather keep that a little secret. :) This drama is one of Korea's best.
