I was expecting it to be some sort of typical British amateurish nonsense, playing at being a tough contemporary gangster flick, but in the end, it turned out not to be that bad. It's amateurish, though there's some idea behind it, but the execution is so lackluster that it can really spoil the overall experience. Nothing groundbreaking.

A well-made story about what the responsibility of soldiers actually is and what their decisions are, or rather, what the consequences of their decisions are. The film focuses quite well on how it's possible to connect conventional life with military life, that even those who are soldiers are really just people. It's a slightly different view, more intimate.

I hate to say this is a film for connoisseurs, but who else is it for? Familienradgeber 2 is truly only for fans of something disgusting, repulsive, and revolting. Especially the disgusting stuff, because you'll find most of it in the film. If you want to see how far it's possible to go, watch the film, but otherwise, it's better to skip Familienradgeber 2. You probably won't miss out on much.

A film that has a great setting and, in the end, quite interesting characters, who clash in a slightly bizarre gang war that culminates in the final scene. There are interesting visual elements used here (such as black windows for farewell), which give the film a touch of originality. Acting-wise, the film does not disappoint.

The film may loosely remind one of "The Virgin Spring" in terms of the plot, but perhaps even more so with its poetic style reminiscent of Bergman's work. On the other hand, it also slightly resembles "Marketa Lazarova". Ultimately, however, it is a very intense film that showcases Bulgarian filmmaking at its best.

This film has quite a few illogicalities, but watching the fights I thought to myself that someone just wanted to make it look good and imaginative. Jamie Foxx's performance is pretty bad here, Michelle Monaghan and her investigation are nothing special, but it still has a charge and drive that caught me, even despite the predictability of the plot.

This is quite a good trip, or how to make an interesting film out of a relatively uninteresting topic. Although it's true that auditors can be portrayed in various ways, you still don't expect what you get in the Hungarian rendition. It's an interesting, quirky ride, it's gritty, it's MTV-esque, but it all comes together to make a good whole.

I like revenge movies. I like movies where the main character is blind. And here, it all connected. Sure, it's primarily an action film, it's an Indian film, so there's a lot of singing in the first half, but eventually, murder occurs and a journey for revenge ensues. The action is well-executed, and the main protagonist is convincingly tough yet human.

How would you survive in a Singapore prison at the end of World War II? Watch this film. It isn't about action, it's not about how all the soldiers were heroes, but it's about what it means to survive in conditions of uncertainty, what it's like to try to keep your sanity and push through until there's maybe a chance of liberation. Psychologically, it's good.

At first glance, it's an environmental film, while at second glance, it's actually a revenge movie. Either way, it's not downright bad, it's filmed in a way that's accessible to the viewer and yet there's this message that's at least based on pretty clear evidence. Man is a wolf to man, and they're probably trying to exterminate each other.
