A very depressing spectacle and the most sick totalitarianism since Hitler, a truly twisted fundamentalist regime. The story of life in a dystopian Gilead in the United States, where women have become sex slaves whose sole purpose is to procreate. While the series has a slower pace, it still holds the viewer's attention well, as this regime has a lot to offer and the gradual discovery and exploration is engaging enough. The main character is excellent and so is the rest (you'll hate Aunt Lydia). There is a lot of sex and there is room for violence (lots of hangings, cruel punishments), and there are some interesting surprises throughout. Emotional, psychological, sexual and very chilling. 80%.

Oh, no, not this. Again, one of those films that critics praise to the skies but is literally painful for the average viewer. Nicolas Cage is a dead actor for me, this guy won't be in a good movie anymore and he certainly can't act. The strange pink and red filter covering the financial shortcomings was annoying, absolutely nothing happens for an hour, and if by some miracle you are still awake after an hour and not completely disgusted, you won't find much satisfaction in the second one either. I suffered, I went crazy, this is not for me. 35%

For someone who doesn’t like any of the episodes of Star Wars, I give this one a thumbs up. A surprisingly solid and brisk heist space flick, with Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, and an unknown Solo lookalike pulling it off. It's nicely entertaining, decently filmed, sufficiently suspenseful and action-packed, and the weird creatures are kept to a minimum compared to Star Wars, which just suits me. A nice surprise and finally can I say the best Star Wars movie?? ! 80%

Great idea, unfortunately you can tell it is a Netflix production, because the French wouldn't come up with such a stupid, naive and unfunny comedy. Women have taken over from men, men's jobs are done by women and vice versa; so many comical situations could have been made out of that, but it hurts the film a lot that women dress like men and the same happens to men, which I found very embarrassing, tasteless and inappropriate. I didn't like it and didn't laugh once. 30%

This has no business being in theaters. A simple and naive action flick, with the main character played by Dave Bautista, whom I don't consider a good actor and certainly can't pull off a film on his own. Fortunately he is a brawler, so during the fights there is something to watch, he has some decent Russian opponents against him, so it is bearable for one viewing, but no glory. 50%

It's not as bad as the ratings and reviews say, but from one of the most anticipated films of the year and the guy who wrote the screenplay for The Last Boy Scout, the untapped potential hurts quite a bit. As an action B-movie, though, the film works reliably. There's quite a bit of action, blood is not spared, and especially at the end it's a pretty decent carnage and the characters are pretty good. The prevailing triple combo is the likable Boyd Holbrook, the beautiful Olivia Munn and the witty Keegan-Michael Key, who finally has a role tailored to him and quite a lot of space. Disappointingly, the atmosphere is almost non-existent, the suspense is also lacking and I couldn't find any Wow effect or scene that made me want to see the film again. That the story is uninteresting and naive I won't criticize, because the old Predator doesn't have a sophisticated script either. For me, the film is hurt quite a bit by the fact that it takes place in a city instead of a jungle. Anyway, the film fulfils its purpose of entertaining, but unfortunately you will not take anything more away from it this time. 65%

A solid political thriller starring the likable John Krasinski. I like the guy more from film to film, but I think he looks better with a beard, here he was a little too slick, but he does an extraordinary job throughout the series and draws full attention to himself. Suleiman, the villain, was also good and I liked the actual war with Islam a lot. Visually it feels more like a film production than a series and for that a big plus. There is not much action and the best shootout comes in the first episode, but I didn't mind it so much, as there are interesting issues being dealt with all the time (e.g. the final episodes with the Ebola), and the tension and pace are nice. I got through the eight episodes in two sittings and I certainly don't regret the time spent. I'll happily watch a second season. 80%.

A fun bizzare romp set in the Budapest metro that offers a glimpse of the work of the ticket inspectors. I found the film very funny in places, there are some good lines, the main characters are good and the film is unexpectedly gritty at times. Definitely a thankless job. Interesting, weird and unconventional, but I liked it. 75%.

I didn't enjoy this one very much. Adrien Brody is an actor nobody cares much about anymore, and Mark Ruffalo is only making money thanks to the Hulk in the MCU. So I don't find this duo very funny, and it's more of a crime story about two con-artist brothers. Nothing much interesting happens in the film, it's not smart or even very entertaining let alone funny. The only thing worth mentioning was the strange reclusive Rachel Weisz, who was great. 45%

A fine entertaining comedy, where I was surprisingly entertained by goofball Paul Rudd, who plays a hopeless good-for-nothing who gets out of prison and stays overnight with his three sisters and screws up their personal lives. A laid-back comedy that is fun to watch and fixes the mood. 70%
