I do not know the original novella, so I cannot feel disappointed, and I am not extremely excited about what I have seen so far, either, although I did not mind watching more episodes. I do not know what terrible things they did to Michiru and how much they edited her and her story, but I find her the most interesting thing about this show. I am enjoying her false Tsundere character and the problem with her (simplistically put) split personality. The last episode has not impressed me much so far. I definitely would not have chosen Amane for myself, especially since some other girls have much more interesting personalities. However, I could accept the main male protagonist's argument that "the only way to save Amane is to accept her," so I guess I will accept it and give it three stars. 5.5/10.

I guess this show is for me like Avatar. I have also heard that if you ignore the visuals, you get a mediocre narrative, a way too long running time, and nothing but a mediocre show, even though I could not neglect the visuals. I take the fact that Unlimited Blade Works is not even close to Fate/Zero in terms of plot (depth of story) as it is. I will probably prefer the original Fate/stay night route (because of Saber), that is also a fact. However, I enjoyed this show because of the animation and the suitable atmosphere created by the fight scenes. Perhaps one day, when I get into the discerning viewer club, I will take these shortcomings into account, although I am more of an undemanding guy. Even now, I am certain that I have seen something extraordinary. I could not agree that the second half was not as great as the first in terms of the animation because even the final fight scenes were just a blast. Five stars. 9/10.

However, my Papa is not in favor of marrying Soo-won, and when I try and talk him into it, there is a very unpleasant surprise..." SPOILER ALERT. You could sum up the main idea behind the show and the first few episodes by saying "How Princess Yona lost her illusions and, forced by circumstances, turned from a naive girl into a tough rebel and gathered a bunch of legendary dragons together." Too bad she did not get any further in this anime series. END OF SPOILERS. The transformation of the main female protagonist was very impressive, and it has a truly captivating narrative. There are a lot of emotions in this show and watching the main characters and their changing feelings is very interesting at times. It also gets very funny at times. Although I usually do not care for bishies, Haku is a cool guy. The animation is great, and the soundtrack complements it perfectly. Even though I am not a fan of Shoujo or reverse harem, this is a very good show, and if a second season comes out, I would be happy to watch it. 9/10.

This show has a decent narrative, great characters, and interesting animation. The combination of animation with 3D in the fight scenes is almost unusually spectacular. It also has a decent amount of great twists, and the character development is good, especially the main protagonist, who, in my opinion, is well developed, especially psychologically. Anyway, my favorite character is Germán (Roberto) Luis, he is a cutie, and I must say that Ema Guzmán the Makai Alchemist has got something going on as well (it was just such a shame she did not get more screen time). So, in the end, my overall impression is positive, and I am awarding it four stars. 7.5/10.

So the animation style has changed a bit and it is quite noticeable in some of the characters, although I like it a bit more this way. It fits my idea of a fantasy adventure MMORPG better, plus Akatsuki is still just as cute and the concept has remained the same, so in that respect, I feel satisfied. I am not too happy with the plot, which, unlike in the first season, is not as interesting and does not give my favorite characters much screen time. Instead, it focuses too much on the younger generation, of which I personally like only Rundelhouse. I was also annoyed by what they did with Krusty; I liked him and the princess perhaps the best out of all those romantic couples. Oh, and even my lovely Akatsuki is not on screen as often as she would deserve (preferably all the time). The last two or so episodes were good and indicated what might come next. I hope the next season might progress and focus more on the main plotline and the characters I liked so much last season, so I hope that the downward trend of my Log Horizon rating is not going to continue and that these four stars will be the worst I ever give this show. 8/10.

The fictional setting of Lord Marksman and Vanadis is not very interesting (or rather it deserves better development) but the strategic depiction of battles using 3D figures was quite amusing. The main male protagonist is quite tolerable, so you get what all those voluptuous women see in him. What I consider as a relatively positive aspect is the fact that the episodes have a pretty good plot compared to similar anime series, so the show does not get too boring. The soundtrack is also OK. This show is easy to watch and can even be interesting at times. However, it does not deserve more than three stars in my book. 5/10.

Amagi Brilliant Park is quite original, and I am not saying that just because I have never seen anyone ask someone out while pointing a gun in their face. This show is quite funny at times and has a certain cuteness. The main male protagonist is a relatively nice guy with many ideas and he can use all the available options to achieve his dream goal. He does not care too much about how he looks to others. The other characters are tolerable, if a bit weird at times, although eventually, even the Moffel mascot stopped bothering me. It certainly had a lot to offer and is quite easy to watch, although unfortunately, I did not feel moved or become deeply interested in the plot. Therefore, it was a pretty average experience overall with occasional enjoyable and funny moments. 5.5/10.

I never enjoyed dancing, so I did not have much hope for this show. I only started watching it because it is a seinen anime series, and since I am slowly starting to become the target audience because of my age, I decided to give it a go. However, during the first episode, I realized it might not be too bad after all. The animation was appealing, and the girl Naru was quite nice, and well, when Hana appeared at the end, I have to say that her strange magical aura momentarily engulfed even me. The narrative started to develop over the next episodes, and Hana's crazy, lively character revealed itself. I slowly found that I was actually getting caught up and that I was slowly but surely starting to enjoy it, I was moved, and I quite enjoyed it. Suddenly I found the Yosakoi dance interesting, and even the problems between the girls hardly bothered me at all. I guess the downside was that some of the storylines were a bit too predictable, and it was still unnecessarily overly emotional at times, yet I enjoyed this anime series a lot. 7.5/10.

I could easily copy my previous review of I Can't Understand What My Husband is Saying and nothing would happen other than ripping myself off. Unlike the other anime series, I find this one a little funnier at times, even though at the same time I find it a lot weirder, a lot less realistic, and therefore I could not empathize with the issues here all that strongly. Likewise, I found the relationships between the characters unclear, and I did not know what to make of it. So I may laugh, but I am also shaking my head and wondering what is going on, and I am not enjoying it. 4/10.

The biggest advantage and disadvantage of this anime series is its running time. The episodes are fresh, sometimes funny, and not annoying due to their brevity, although they, unfortunately, do not have a chance to develop the narrative to be more complex. So, I got relatively little from the plane of coexistence of two "different worlds". I wonder what the anime series would look like if it had a more typical running time and could keep its fresh perspective. Anyway, it is a pleasant treat that is easy to watch, even though it could not satiate me on its own. 6/10.
