Wikingowie - Łaska (2016) (odcinek)

angielski The third episode rather disappointed me, the story basically stagnated, and I would recommend the fairy tale "How Princesses Wake Up" to the creators, there the battle with the fake bear was more interesting even without digital tricks. Besides expanding sexual relationships, Wessex didn't come up with anything new, only Rollo was funny, one reader.

Wikingowie - Zabić królową (2016) (odcinek)

angielski While the events in Kattegat didn't really appeal to me, I truly enjoyed the events in Francia and England. Rollo's storyline managed to make me laugh again, Aethelwulf's rescue mission to Mercia provided some decent action, and there are also intrigues happening in both places again, so I rate it five stars.

Wikingowie - Dobra zdrada (2016) (odcinek)

angielski The fourth season left the same impression on me as the beginning of the third series - hesitant. The events in Kattegat didn't seem particularly interesting to me, earlier intrigues disappeared somewhere, so the story somehow lacked excitement. I added the fourth star only because of the events in Frankreich, Rollo took care of some humor (wedding and wedding night) and subsequently also the most important events of the first episode.

Wikingowie - Martwi (2015) (odcinek)

angielski The final episode sympathetically concluded the initially hesitant third season and references the historical figure Gaange Rolf, the founder of the Norman dynasty. While the Greeks came up with the Trojan horse, the Vikings managed with a Parisian coffin, and the result was essentially the same :-) Thanks to Oda's hobby, I also learned that hair removal has a really long tradition in France.

Wikingowie - Przełom (2015) (odcinek)

angielski Although I was disappointed that Athelstan's visions were inherited by Ragnar, I could not lower my rating. While the action decreased, it remained high-quality. What was lacking in the battle scenes was fully compensated by King Egbert, this character has been entertaining me more and more with each episode, and I hope he will get more screen time.

Wikingowie - Do bram! (2015) (odcinek)

angielski The common use of crossbows in France is documented only from the year 947, while the siege of Paris occurred in the years 841-45, but that is my only critical note about this episode. Otherwise, it was a great event that I enjoyed the whole time. Until the sixth part, I had big concerns about the third season, but now the situation has radically changed.

Wikingowie - Narodziny (2015) (odcinek)

angielski Finally, the creators came up with an episode that was worth it in the third season. Although Floki's and Athelstan's religious ecstasy often gets on my nerves, I enjoyed the episode because it once again reassured me that the ends justify the means and that Christian love for one's neighbor often manifests quite barbarically.

Wikingowie - Uzurpator (2015) (odcinek)

angielski This episode would have been excellent for a good night's sleep, as it was quite soporific. Nothing big was happening, no issues were being resolved, and no preparations were being made, unless we count Ragnar's epic monologue about Paris. It seems that even back then, it was a favorite destination for all romantic souls. If it wasn't for King Egbert and his magnificent conclusion, I would have been heavily disappointed.

Wikingowie - Blizny (2015) (odcinek)

angielski The main positive of the fourth episode was Harbard's departure from Kattegat, I assume he was a Norse Rasputin. I was not particularly impressed by the scene at the lake or the revelation that Ragnar's son Ivar, unlike Floki's daughter Angrboda, does not age. Princess Kwenthrith (disinfection, poison) managed to amuse me once again.

Wikingowie - Los wojownika (2015) (odcinek)

angielski I don't know, something is wrong when even the battle frenzy doesn't put me in the mood anymore. The fight itself was again handled at a decent level, but I didn't really get the intro with the one-handed bandit. I understand that the creators wanted to make an important character leave in a way that would be memorable, but what was the significance of it? If he had at least pulled a rope behind him and given a signal with two tugs that they were after him, fine, but like this? Telepathy? The only interesting thing for me was the ritual before the first sowing.
