(Best Film)

If it's a romantic comedy, then only with the addition of action and here it fits like a glove. I liked the cute Anna Kendrick (she reminded me of a high school classmate), Sam Rockwell as a dancing assassin was very good and Tim Roth was good too, albeit in a smaller role. There are two decent original fights and overall I had a positive feeling about it. The humour went rather sideways, but it's entertaining. 65%. ()
After the first fifteen minutes, I thought I would boo the film, but then I turned off my logical thinking and realized that the filmmakers just wanted to have some fun. The moment I gave up on my expectations of logical continuity, the film started working surprisingly well. I could just chill and actually ended up having a pretty good time. Let me sum it up: it was terrible but entertaining. 3*+ ()
I was expecting a good comedy and that's what I got. Anna Kendrick is a favorite of mine, and I also love the theme of hired killers, which isn't portrayed here as originally, but it boasts extremely original elements; even the dancing is murderously cute. It's properly crazy, and surprisingly, Sam and Anna fit together incredibly well. RZA has a great role as well. ()
Sam Rockwell, Anna Kendrick and Tim Roth were the main attraction for me to watch this absurd gangster comedy. Despite my initial misgivings, it was thanks to them and a few funny situations that I ended up having a good time. Although, let's face it, this is a real piece of nonsense. (70%) ()
