With its second season, Santa Clarita Diet proves that its creators have done something that perfectly fits both the genres of comedy and horror plus crime drama. There is a very active policewoman after them, and even within that particular genre, they manage to turn the classic elements on their head. I would not have expected to have enjoyed Drew Barrymore as much as I did, but Timothy Olyphant and Barrymore simply had great on-screen chemistry.
