Another of many successful episodes, this time the plot was not unnecessarily slowed down, the atmosphere was great, tension and action were not lacking, but I simply couldn't give it a full rating because the creators infuriated me unbelievably. If I understand correctly, the police take a person into protective custody to protect them. Escobar's wife's trip through the entire hotel just to see the crime scene (!) seemed very stupid to me. Just like in the seventh episode, I didn't like the slowdown. Instead of a trip with Lufthansa, the creators introduced a genuine Colombian farmer connected with natural lyricism, which felt like a blemish in this series, and for the first time, I felt a hint of boredom while watching it. Even the final episode of the second season didn't impress me enough to give it five stars. The carefully built tension didn't work for me this time, since it was clear from the beginning how things would end for Escobar. On the other hand, I was once again pleased with the inserted documentary shots and photographs, which made it obvious that the creators went to great lengths to ensure that the chosen actors resembled the real characters (except for Agent Murphy). Season 3 was the weakest one so far in my view. It wasn't bad, though. The biggest problem is that the creators had me overhyped with the previous two seasons. Despite their best effort, they couldn't match their previous work. The Cali cartel bosses lacked Escobar's charisma, and a similar thing happened concerning the DEA team. Don’t get me wrong, Javier Peña was alright, but it just wasn’t the same without Murphy. I didn’t get hooked on the story this time as much as I did in the previous seasons, although I still enjoyed it. (15.07.2018)

The first episode of the third season was unequivocally the weakest start of all three seasons, but still, I can't rate it lower than four stars. The gloomy Javier Peña entertained me too much for that. The absence of Pablo Escobar's character was very noticeable, even though the Cali cartel is led by a whole quartet of "bad boys", none of them has the necessary charisma to match Escobar. I'm curious about how (if at all) the character of Jorge Salceda will develop, I sense hidden potential there. 4* (13.07.2018)

The plot once again stayed at the level of the first part, it did not impress me with anything remarkable, but on the other hand, it is true that I was never bored for a moment. As I mentioned in my previous comment, a charismatic antagonist of Escobar's size is sorely missing, but fortunately, Jorge Salceda has shown that my hopes in him will not be disappointed. 4* (13.07.2018)

From the very beginning, I was intrigued and entertained by the introduction to money laundering, then I was pleased that the level of corruption in the Colombian police force had not decreased in any way, so entertainment could be ensured in the future. Moreover, the conclusion implied that the next episode could be more lively, so I will hope for it. 4* (13.07.2018)

No, what a glory! Finally, the creators allowed me to use all the stars from the arsenal. For the first time in the third season, the episode didn't lack a quality atmosphere, a decent amount of tension, and there was even some action. I was especially pleased with the use of documentary shots at the end of the episode, and I am looking forward to further development with hope. (13.07.2018)

Truth, the previous episode was more action-packed, but the fifth part clearly sets the stage for more weapon rattling and prepares it very interestingly. Paranoia is spreading among the Cali cartel leadership after Gilbert's imprisonment, DEA is focusing on Franklin Jurado, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it all comes together in the next installment. I was looking forward to a proper beating, and I got it. The creators dedicated the previous episode to theory, and in the sixth part, the practical side came. It is clear that Jorge Salcedo will not end well, as David Rodríguez looks at him too strangely, everything else is rather confusing. There was another decent action, although it is true that the shootout in the club was quite chaotic. (14.07.2018)

The seventh episode definitely belongs among the successful ones. The pre-credit scene in the church immediately set the right mood for me, and I also enjoyed the rest of it. Hostility between the cartels was joined by conflicts among the Rodríguez brothers. There was tension and decent action, but I simply couldn't give it five stars because of that bathroom scene. These last-second rescues are disgustingly cliché, and I silently hoped that film and series creators would not resort to them anymore. (15.07.2018)

This time I felt that the episode was somewhat uneven. Salcedo's dance in the minefield definitely caught my attention more than the action to rescue Christina. Nevertheless, I was entertained once again, there was an interesting storyline, tension was not lacking in Salcedo's plotline, so I was quite satisfied. (15.07.2018)

The ninth episode worked at a nice pace throughout, bringing decently tense moments and well-executed action. I just regretted not being able to see Henao assembling the opening puzzle :-) I really enjoy how this series alternates between optimistic moments and total depression. (15.07.2018)

The final episode of the third season didn't impress me too much. I expected a full-bodied conclusion, but instead, a somewhat lean version came, which was not bad, but didn't particularly dazzle me. Pacho, on the other hand, once again dominated the subtitles part, while the rest of the episode somewhat "couldn't keep up" with the brisk introduction. (15.07.2018)
