angielski I have wondered for a long time why a reasonably pleasant fantasy series with a harmless, occasionally fairytale, occasionally somewhat drastic storyline has such catastrophic ratings. And then I made the mistake of reading the reviews and sighed at what a cesspool local reviewers can sometimes be. As I write this, sixty-nine users have already written reviews, and a full thirty-five, which is almost exactly half, cannot resist mentioning or getting angry and ranting about the actors' skin color or their sexuality, which clashes with their preferences. I thought that by 2020, we would have gone further, that it would be normal to rise above such things, regardless of the viewer's opinions, but I guess I was naive. However, the legend of Nimue and her friends, allies, and adversaries is cleverly adapted in many places, and the relationships between the characters pleasantly mix against expectations. However, that often seems to be the only thing that entertains in this attractive world of magical swords and hidden abilities. The potential was more than promising, not only because of the casting of the still fresh-faced Katherine Langford and Gustaf Skarsgård, who fortunately does not put too variety into Floki. The decent number of characters also helps, as it constantly keeps things happening and allows viewers who have already experienced a few stories with Excalibur to anticipate further twists and revelations. It's no surprise to me that it ends right after the first season, just when the potential finally revealed itself in its entirety, but it still saddens me. ()
