angielski I was drawn to the series by Esther, but I'm leaving excited because of Cecilia. The actors are without a doubt the best thing about this series. But the dense atmosphere that the creators have managed to create – also thanks to the soundtrack – is not to be overlooked. I see a bit of weakness in the script, which isn’t followed through. Though it was fine anyway, it's still a pity they didn't take it further. ()

angielski The miniseries Someone Has to Die appealed to me at first sight because of its theme and setting. However, after watching it, I have mixed feelings about this Mexican piece. The creators played out several issues in the field of three episodes (family/partner relationships, the position towards sexual minorities, gossip vs. truth) and managed to initially draw me into the plot, in which more than one character made my blood run cold with their arrogant, hypocritical or psychopathic behaviour, so there was no shortage of emotions. I liked the visual conception of the seasoned interludes with the various characters and was intrigued by the crime drama of the miniseries, even if it was predictable. During the third episode, however, I felt that the creators had somewhat fumbled the script, and the very ending felt like a soap opera cut with your average Tarantino film (no disrespect intended). The promising theme and the plot sort of fizzled out in the end. ()
