Obce światy

I don’t watch documentaries, but this one caught my attention and I'm a little disappointed that it deceives the audience and I didn't get what I ordered. Unfortunately, most of the running time takes place on our planet and although we see interesting locations (Ethiopia, Area 51, Trinidad, Sierra Nevada, caves in Mexico), there were a bit too few new planets for my taste. The shots of fictional extraterrestrial life were breathtaking, but they were often, as if the creators had a limited budget, and when they show the same scene three times in one episode with just a different label, I feel cheated. Nevertheless, I don't regret watching it, I learned a few interesting things. 7/10. (07.12.2020)

Apart from a ten-minute, visually attractive space sequence, this is a regular, earthbound documentary about various ins and outs of Mother Nature. Sometimes what we find out is interesting, sometimes not. The best thing is planet Atlas and then the last Terra which may (or may not) show us what the future looks like on our lump of dirt.
