She holds a Degree on Visual Arts from IUNA and also a Degree in Psychology from UBA. She graduated from Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Manuel Belgrano and from Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Prilidiano Pueyrredón. In 2015, her filmography was part of the Experimental Cinema Exhibition ‘El Cine es Otra Cosa’ in MAMBA Museum. In 2012, Toia was part of the exhibition ‘Hors Pistes’ in Centre Pompidou, France. Her complete filmography was shown in the Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente de Mar del Plata. In 2011, she won the second place for the Nuevos Aportes award in the Salón Nacional. In 2009, she got the first price for Best Documentary Film, given by Página 12 in the Festival de La Mujer y el Cine, held in MALBA Museum.
