This director didn't disappoint again! Sung-Hong Kim blew me away five years ago with the excellent thriller Missing and this year he made Doctor. The film is about a top plastic surgeon who owns everything you can think of, but one day everything around him changes drastically when he catches his wife with a strange man. From that moment on, sweet revenge begins! The doctor give a single fuck about anything and anyone! He gives a great hysterical performance as a crazed psychopath. However, it's a great shame that half of the murders are out of frame, which may annoy most viewers, but the closer the film got to the end, the more daring the director became. Entertaining, suspenseful, erotic, brisk and skillfully shot. 70% (28.01.2014)
