Waszyngton – miasto polityki i intryg, sięgających samego szczytu władzy. (Cineman)

I guess I assumed that if Liam Neeson was in it, I'd be hooked, so I went ahead and watched it despite the subject matter. But yeah, the whole theme of secret American organizations is very much aimed at an American audience, and the movie feels more like a small-scale drama than a slick, exciting spy thriller. It ended up being pretty dull, and even the performances were just standard fare. ()
It's such a shame to take a subject as interesting as the background of Watergate, which is such an interesting story written by reality itself, and screw it up with so many actors who are really good. That's very reprehensible. Liam Neeson is good, but you can tell that he is just routinely playing a role that is overall very cut-and-dried and terribly boring. ()
A somewhat awkward and not very engaging film that explores one of the biggest political affairs in relatively recent US history. The accompanying music has a dramatic feel, which is definitely not true of the narrative style. I was glad to learn something interesting from behind the scenes of the whole scandal, but I don't need to see this film a second time. (60%) ()
